1) How can I pay for my Vintage Telecaster ? Payment Methods for Your Vintage Amp or Vintage Guitar - We accept pay pal, bank wire postal money orders and cashiers checks as well as all major credit cards. All cashiers checks will be verified and all checks must clear before shipping.
2) How will you ship my Vintage Stratocaster ? - We ship amps and guitars UPS domestic and international only. Please contact us for a shipping quote. Buyer is responsible for shipping both ways on returned items with no exceptions. All returned items must arrive in the same condition they were sent. The buyer is responsible for any shipping damage and must contact us within 24 hours of receiving a damaged item.
3) I am looking for a Gibson SG , Do you work off of Want Lists ? - Yes we do, send us your want list, we will let you know when we locate a vintage Gibson SG, Les Paul Special, Stratocaster, Telecaster or other vintage guitar amp or effect you are interested in. For more details see "Want lists" in the menu on the left side of this page.
4) I need to find a Gibson Les Paul Special but I called and you don't have one. How often do you get new inventory ? - We are continuously buying guitar amps and vintage guitars. Rare guitars such as a 1960 Stratocaster, gold top or Gibson ES-345 with Double White PAF pickups aren't located as often as a more common Telecaster, Les Paul Junior or 70's Gibson SG. Many guitars and amps sell before we have a chance to list them on eBay and this site. The best ting to do is to give us a call and have us add what you're looking for to our want list.
5) I want to see more vintage guitar photos! - If you want more information on a specific guitar just drop us an email or give us a call. We would be happy to provide more details on items such as a Vintage Fender Stratocaster, Pbass, Telecaster or Les Paul Custom. 6) Do you offer Buyer Protection ? - We offer 24-hour approval on all our products for authenticity and description. We're not happy until you're happy! 7) What will my Guitar or Amp repair cost ? - Costs vary depending on the nature of the repair. Please call or drop us an email with a description of the repair and we can give you an estimate. Call 773-878-8617 or drop the repair shop an emal at Repairs@rocknrollvintage.com.
8) U.S.A. Sales Tax - Illinois residents and customers purchasing from our retail store will be charged sales tax. Dealers who intend to resell guitars and who supply a valid tax ID will not be charged sales tax.
9) Import Duties VAT and other destination specific taxes - For destinations outside the U.S. your country may have import duties, VAT taxes or other country specific taxes. We do not include these taxes in our prices. It is the customer's responsibility to pay these taxes.
10) How will you ship my vintage guitar - We use UPS ground for domestic shipping and UPS global for international shipments. We carefully pack and fully insure every guitar.
11) I want to sell my Gibson SG junior guitar, are you interested ? - We will need to take a look at your vintage guitar before we can make an offer on it. You can bring it by our store, send us photos and in some cases we will drive or fly to your location. The first thing to do is to give us a call to discuss your vintage guitar or amp. We will offer you a fair price and a smooth transaction if it's a piece we're interested in. Please keep in mind we want clean original guitars and amps and we need to be able to sell the guitar to another customer. In most cases we will beat the local guitar chain store, pawn shop or estate sale.

13) What are your store hours ? We are open Weekdays from 12 noon to 6 P.M. Central Standard time. We are usually open from noon to 5 P.M. Central Standard Time on Saturdays however it's best if you call ahead to make sure we are open. We can also arrange for a private showing, call 773-878-8616 for details.
14) What is your Privacy Policy ? We do not store any credit card information on this site, all credit card transactions are sent through a secure credit card processing web site. We do collect email and phone information on customers as well as people who have signed up for our newsletters. We may send information from time to time to our customer and newsletter lists however we will not sell or authorize the release of these names to any person or organization.
15) What will we charge to ship your vintage Stratocaster, Telecaster or other guitar or amp ? We charge $60 for domestic shipping and $250 for most international destinations. Australia and some other locations are additional. Amp shipping varies by size and weight. Please call us for more details on specific amps and international rates.
16) How long will it take for you to repair my guitar or amp ? Repair times vary depending on the nature of the repair. Most repairs generally take a week while guitar setups can be done faster.
