The Kay K5970VB Blonde Jazz Speical Bass was introduced in 2012.  This bass is a reissue of the bass featured on the cover of Paul McCartney's "Jet" single.  It's know for a slim neck and a subsonic low end.  It uses a hollow light weight body with an exclusive bracing system.  Great for live as well as studio use.  A vintage Kay case is included.

Kay K5970V Jazz Special Electric Bass Black.   It has a subsonic low end and very slim neck  for great playability.  Kay uses a feedback reducing bracing system in the body making this bass great for live performance as well as studio work.  The body features a double cut design with curly maple ply top, maple ply sides and arched maple ply back with black and white binding.  The neck is one piece Canadian maple with a 12" radius.  The fingerboard is rosewood with dot inlays, 20 Jumbo nickel-silver frets and uses a 31" scale.  Tuners are Wilkinson 2 per side extra lite with cloverleaf buttons.  The bridge is a stud mounted rosewood bridge with adjustment wheels and a trapeze tail is used.  The Pickup is a single coil Thin Twin blade style pickups with individual tone and volume control.  The nut is a 1 1/2 inch bone nut.

The Kay Pro Bass 162V is a reissue of the classic Kay K162 bass. It featues a wide range of personalities. It can have the loudness and grit of an electric guitar but if can also sound like a doublebass when plucked.  The Kay K162V bass gets it's amazing tone from a single-coil blade pickup. For additional tone options a dual-capacitor switch will cut the highs and add punch and depth similar to an upright bass. A Kay vintage hard shell case is include.  Featuers include a flamed 3 ply maple top, 31" scale, rosewood fingerboard with a 12" radius, trapeze tailpiece and bone nut.  Includes Kay retro case.
